What's A Blog? Why A Blog?
Welcome to Wesley Park's Blog! In this initial post I hope to answer two questions you might have: what's a blog and why a blog? Let's dive in.
A blog can a personal diary. A daily pulpit. A collaborative space. A political soapbox. A breaking-news outlet. A collection of links. Your own private thoughts. Memos to the world. And much more. For us, the Wesley Park Blog will be a place for you to respond to posts I have made. Each week I will post items to which you can respond with comments or questions. I will alway give you the opportunity to respond and ask questions about the Sunday sermons. Other posts will be about things I think you might find interesting or helpful in fulfilling our mission and vision, as well as living out our values.
I have opted to review all comments and questions before they are posted to the blog. I've done this to keep anything offensive or inappropriate from appearing on the blog. I will also make every attempt to respond to all of our questions within 24 hours of the time I receive them. However, if the volume of questions in a given week becomes more than I can respond to, I trust you will understand.
I'm looking forward to this new venture into the cyber world. I welcome your questions and comments to this post.
Wesley Park's Blog is a public blog. That means that anyone with internet access with be able to find it. We hope many from outside our church family do! So please keep in mind that anything which gets posted to the blog is there for the world to see.
